CONFORMANCE STATUS
Status: Partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA
We conducted our most recent accessibility evaluation in August 2026 . For more information, see the NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT section.
NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT
Below is a description of known limitations we're working to address.
1. Continuous motion on the home page: the 3D Multiverse animates constantly. Use the Pause motion button at the bottom-left, or set reduced motion in your operating system — both stop the scene.
2. The Multiverse canvas is summarised, not narrated: the 3D scene is exposed to screen readers as one described region with a text outline of the page. Individual planets and links inside the scene are not yet readable one by one.
3. The legal footer overflows at very narrow widths: at a 320 CSS-pixel viewport the footer links do not wrap and the last link can be pushed off screen. Every legal page is also reachable directly: /privacypolicy, /termsofservice, /cookiepolicy, /AUP and this page at /accessibility.
4. Touch control of the 3D scene is incomplete: on phones and tablets some orbit gestures do not respond, and the minimap’s tap targets are smaller than the 24 × 24 CSS-pixel minimum, so a tap can select a neighbouring marker.
5. No in-page colour, contrast or font controls: the site follows your browser and operating-system settings (including zoom, forced colours and text-spacing overrides) rather than offering its own controls.
6. No captions or transcripts: there is no speech, video or spoken audio anywhere on the site. The only sound is an optional ambient effect, which has its own mute button. If we publish spoken or video material, it will ship with captions and a transcript.
